From The Paris Diary:

   "Is a fugue the pointless conversation of persons in too-perfect
   agreement? Or someone insane talking to himself?"

I doubt Bach would know what to make of this comment!  In that vein, has
anyone heard the Simpson arrangement for string quartet of The Art of the
Fugue by the Delme String Quartet that is recently released on Hyperion and
reviewed in the current Fanfare?
