i listened many different versions,including the Dinnu ipatti(wich is
wonderful),but for me the most rare,(or exotic maybe) is the Alexander
Brailowsky, in a CBS columbia masterworks (of course is an old Long Play
record 33.3). It is a very personal aproach Brailowsky did to the Waltzer,
but is plenty of beauty and imagination,and he realized many inner things
who other pianists maybe never did. And for me,even being a Rubinstein
adict, even thaht,i prefer Brailowsky version.
