I second the excellence of Couperin's work and the Rousett cd on Decca.
Sandrine Piau is a favorite of mine. I first heard her on a disc of Handel
arias on Opus 111. Although she has a great voice, it is the sensuality of
the instrument which really gets to me. I hear a voice like that, and I
just assume she's singing for me - does Sandrine Satz sound like a winner?
