All, I recently posted an addendum to the War Requiem information that Mr.
Ed Zubrow submitted, but I did not give any information about myself.

I am currently a teaching fellow conducting the Men's Chorus at the
University of North Texas in Denton, TX. This year will be my third year
at this post, and I will have one more year to follow. I currently am a
theory masters student, a conducting doctoral candidate at UNT, and I am
thoroughly enjoying all of the scholarship and music there.

I have sung in various choirs throughout Texas such as the TMEA All-State
Choir (high school), the Angelo State University Chamber and Concert Choirs
under Dr. Pamela Lee, UNT's Canticum Novum directed by Henry Gibbons as
well as his Denton Bach Society, the UNT Grand Chorus conducted by Anshel
Brusilow and Mel Ivey, and the Helios Ensemble conducted by my colleague
and fellow lister, Kevin Sutton. From time to time, I conduct Mr.
Gibbons's choirs as he is my main conducting professor.

As a side note, I have also had the priviledge to be involved in various
stage productions with ASU and UNT, both singing-acting and participating
as chorusmaster for both universities. It is with great excitement that I
continue to perform and conduct more and more, aided by the information and
insight I receive from my experiences with music, colleagues, and other
institutions.

It's nice to be here,

Daniel Farris
