I would recommend Henze's Undine (Knussen on DG), the works of John McCabe,
and the music of Michael Torke, much of which was written for dance.  And
don't forget Britten's Prince of the Pagodas--unfortunately I think Virgin
deleted Knussen's superlative recording.
