It's a very high registered trumpet which until a few decades ago nobody
could play without going off key. It was so bad that when Casals recorded
it at Prades, he had the part played on a soprano saxophone.

The Third Brandenburg consists of two movements separated by what in
earlier performances was simply two chords. Now these chords are often
improvised upon.
