Rapped by whom? Period instrument fans already rap these orchestras for
not giving performances of Baroque music, for totally neglecting over 100
years of music composition.  Besides, there's no law against providing
each orchestra member a "period" instrument; I assume that professional
musicians have the ability to learn to play one.
