Bel Canto Society (www.belcanto.org) is offering a 2 CD set of Verdi's
Ernani featuring Mario del Monaco, Anita Cerquetti, Ettore Bastianini and
Boris Christoff under the baton of Dimitri Mitropoulos.  I suspect that
this recording was originally issued on the Melodram label (MEL 27016),
based on a live recording of a performance from June 1957.  Is anyone on
the list familiar with this recording? Opinions, please.
