I lost track of who suggested this as a way of
preventing propolis glueing hive bodies together.  I
did this once and got a big yuk out of the result:
Everytime I touched the hive it squirmed sideways,
leaving the bees unconfined.  This was a big nuisance
so I turned my back on that idea immediately. Besides,
it is a lot more fun talking about my successes than
about my failures.  Dan
