Hello all,
There was an article in the American Bee Journal a couple of years ago about
red-eyed drones. In fact there was a picture of one on the cover. I'll try
to find it and forward the date. It is a recessive gene that crops up now
and then and not a problem. It is sort of like the fruit fly stuff done in
college genetics. If I remember the article, there are manifestations other
than red that crop up as well.
