If I am not mistaken, there was a "Nova" episode about the B-29 in
Greenland. Which means that it is probably available on video.

My reference to aircraft being pristine was ironic. Apart from the impact of
being thrown off the carrier, impact once they hit the sea floor the
interaction between the salt and the various aircraft parts would be very
interesting. Still if you have the money I am sure you can by a "treasure"
map of the purported dumping grounds.

Apparently the same sort of thing happened to Quonset huts in the South
Pacific, they were thrown off the islands into the sea. Unreasonably my
client has refused to extend the project budget to allow a comparative
analysis of these sites despite them being closer to Sydney than Iceland.
