I found some interesting web sites hosted by collectors of insulators (which
are often found along old railway lines.) I'm sorry but I don't have any
addresses but I'm sure you can easily find them with a decent search engine.
After reading through some of these, I became aware that these collectors
really know how to find "train related features."

Subject: train depot research?

Fellow HistArchers:

We are currently doing preliminary research on a project involving an early
20th century segregated train depot. The depot was built in Venice, Florida
in 1927 and used until a few decades ago. We are aware of the numerous
studies of Chinese railroad labor camps, but does anyone know of any that
have been done on depots, or other train related features? Any
advice, suggestions or references would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
Leo Demski
