Me neither.
And since we're talking pet peeves, letters with a self-congratulatory tone
really get up my nose. I'll be the one to decide if you're a 'superb
motivator,' have 'exceptional writing skills,'  or whether you'll be a
'invaluable asset to the team,'  thank you very much. 
Like Mary said: just the facts, ma'am.
