The SHA Awards Committee is pleased to announce the third cycle of
nominations for the John L. Cotter Award in Historical Archaeology.
Presentation will take place in January 2002 at the SHA Annual Meeting
in Mobile, Alabama.

Please see the two attached files for a criteria for the award and
a Nomination Form. If you can not open attached files the key dates
are: (1)June 30th to contact the Chair of the Awards Committee to
make a nomination, and (2) October 1st to have your nomination file
complete. These forms were also published in last year's SHA NEWSLETTER
and will appear shortly in the NEWSLETTER this year.
