Kim and Steve,

At the 1998 Society for California Archaeology Annual Meeting, I arranged a
GPS symposium. The equipment was state of the art and folks went out to the
gardens to map in palm trees. Though I had other duties that day, the
symposium was a big success. I look forward to a SHA symposium on this new
emerging technology.
