I am a PhD research student at the University of Bristol working
in the field of Palaeodietary reconstruction using stable isotope analyis
(d¹³C) of bone collagen. I am currently considering undertaking analysis of
archaeologically excavated historic-period (c.1800 AD) human bone from the
eastern Caribbean.

Preservation of collagen in the Caribbean is problematic due to the climate
so I would like to conduct a small pilot study using samples of bone from
the 18th or 19th centuries from the Caribbean (ideally eastern Caribbean). I
would need ~10 grams from a femoral or tibial shaft from 4 excavated bones,
for the pilot study - and a description of the excavated context.

I would be very grateful if anyone could put me in touch with museums or
excavation projects who could assist me in this pilot study.
