William,

I investigated a mining complex that included several water-powered
arrastras developed and used by Italian immigrants in the California Mother
Lode country between 1880-1895. My work included testing to confirm
construction details. The complex was determined eligible to the National
Register relative to Criteria (c) and (d).

Contact me off list with your address if you'd like a copy of the report.
