The Department of Social Sciences at Michigan Technological University
invites immediate applications for a one-year full-time teaching position in
Historical/Industrial Archaeology.  Preference will be given to applicants
who hold the PhD degree in Archaeology/Anthropology and who have teaching
experience, but ABD applications are also welcome.  Because we are trying
to fill a specific void, preference will also be given to applicants who
can teach the following semester-length courses: Historical and Industrial
Archaeology, Archaeological Laboratory Methods, Field Methods in
Historical/Industrial Archaeology, and World Civilizations.  Teaching load:
5 courses per academic year (semester basis).  The position also involves
guidance and interaction with graduate students at the master's level.
