Mary,

I seem to remember that Marley Brown's dissertation was on a Quaker site.
Unfortunately, it is unpublished. We are working on a Quaker farmstead site
dating from ca 1785 to ca 1820 which has a large collection of ceramics, a fair
amount of glass, and other household goods. It is the Wilson site in
Pennsylvania. Back in 1984, I wrote a paper on a Quaker earthenware dealer
which you probably have seen. The reference to the article is:

George L. Miller
1984 George M. Coates, Pottery Merchant of Philadelphia, 1817-1831.
Winterthur Portfolio Volume 19, No. 1, Spring, 1984 pages 37-50.

If you put together a bib of Quaker sites, I would appreciate seeing a copy.
