I would like to post the following training announcement for the National
Park Service's Recent Archeological Prospection Advances for
Non-destructive Investigations in the 21st Century.
Colleagues
I would like to inform you of the next archeological prospection workshop
to be offered by the National Park Service. The workshop is designed to
provide a practical application of geophysical equipment and aerial
photographic techniques available for the identification, evaluation, and
ultimately, the conservation and protection of cultural resources. Field
exercises associated with the course will concentrate on the application of
these techniques to archaeological investigations. The enrollment is open
to all professional archeologists, university graduate and undergraduate
