My apologies for cross posting.
The Boston Mountain Ranger District of the Ozark-St.Francis National Forest
will soon be advertising a GS-0193-07/09 Zone Archaeologist position
(permanent full time). This position WILL be advertised outside the USDA
Forest Service. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting cultural
resource inventories and evaluations in support of all Forest undertakings,
including but not limited to: timber sales, land exchanges, minerals
exploration, road construction, recreation development, special uses,
wildlife, soil restoration, public interpretation, and scientific research.
The position works under the direction of the District Ranger.
Consultation with the State Historic Preservation Office and Tribes will be
coordinated through the Heritage Program Manager at the Supervisor's Office
in Russellville.
