I think sometimes a good cover can contribute to the experience of a CD in
much the same way that Kevin Sutton suggests the liner notes do.  But a bad
cover does not detract from what really matters--the music--because it can
be ignored.

My favorite covers are both of Americana.  The cover of Alleluia on Nimbus
and of the Amy Beach Piano music on ASV.
