Did anyone happen to see the Newsweek article "Music on the Mind", July 24,
2000, page 50. The article can also be viewed at their site www.newsweek.com
Byline:
Music on the Mind
Scientists are finding that the human brain is pre-wired for music. Could
this sublime expression of culture be as much about biology as art?

It describes scientific discoveries that say the every human mind comes
prewired for music and this can be detected in infants. Other interesting
points are mades as well including students that do better in math after
being given piano instruction.

Check it out and we can discuss it.
