When Vol 1 of these appeared last year, a few of us theorised about the
source of an odd noise which occurred randomly but not sufficiently loudly
to detract from enjoyment of the music. I've recently bought Vol 2 and
found that the same noise occurs. However, although the sessions for Vol
2 took place in the same church in Norway, they were about 13 months after
those for Vol 1. I suggested last year that the sound might have been made
by a bird in the roof. This year's theory is that it might be caused by
the spike, if that's the right word, on the cello. Any thoughts?
