I had read some posts about BBC 3 going online, and the deleriously
happy reactions from longtime fans of "the mother of all classical radio
stations," but for one reason or another I hadn't actually connected until
now. Tonight I went to the link and less than a minute after starting to
listen, what should come on but Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, only my very
favorite piece of music of all time. Now I'm hooked. How did they do
that? Did they know I was coming? Incredible. Now that's a radio station!

Goodness, now they're playing the D major Haydn Cello concerto. They even
know i'm a cellist. this is getting creepy.
