Mary Beaudry's story should have surprised all of us on HISTARCH. We
can all enjoy the slip of the finger that sends a personal message
to 800 people. I got quite a chuckle out of Mary's original message.
However, sending it on to specific individuals to stir up conflict
is outside the pale. We need a honorary code of ethics for HISTARCH
"accidents". Thou shall not go beyond the 800 original recipients
seems like a good and fair rule. Keep in mind that eventually it will
also happen to you - the slip of the finger.
