This is an invitation for papers for a symposium on feminist
historical archaeologies that I'm organizing for the 20001 SHA
meetings in Long Beach, CA.
This session aims to show the diversity in feminist approaches to
gender and its intersections with other social dimensions, such as
class, race, ethnicity and/or religion. The session as a whole will
also explore core feminist questions concerning power in gender
relationships, identities, and ideologies.
If you would like to contribute a paper to this session please email
me about your topic, preferably an abstract of your paper. You will
hear back from me today or tomorrow morning, but them I'm going to a
conference until next Tuesday. I will respond Tuesday to emails
received from Thursday afternoon through Monday.
Cheers,
Suzanne
