This recording is anything but mediocre.  I have played it dozens of times
in the store and each time we play it, someone buys it.  I love Pires'
elegant playing and I find that these performances are balanced, exciting
and wonderfully executed.  I give it a very strong recommendation and I
don't think you would regret this purchase for a minute.  Go for it!
