Re: wrist problems with cross cradle, if mom "insists" on using wrist in
this fashion show her how to support wrist with folded towel etc. I've
found some moms who just seem to be unable "to get it" without using
their wrist incorrectly. Handedness, being awkward, both probably have
something to do with it.
Another thought, I've seen babies who where very uncomfortable, unable to
nurse effectively if heavy breast was "resting" on their chest. Mom's
breast needs support if this is a problem (rolled towel, sling etc. Good
illustrations in several books.)
