There are only two really good products, the better ClassiCat at
http://www.tdware.com/ and Primasoft at http://www.primasoft.com/
I've found that I have too many CDs to really spend the rest of my
life filling out these databases. Instead, I only codify those CDs with
multiple composers, and leave my collection otherwise in alphabetical
order, then by instrumental, chamber, symphonic, and vocal. It works
quite well. For insurance purposes, I simply take photographs of the
collections.
