Lately I have noticed that RCA has made a tremendous number of Arthur
Rubenstein recordings available in new packaging. I have been on a piano
kick for the last few months and like what I have heard by Rubinstein but
I don't have too much.
In a nutshell, what are the recordings in the RCA archives that are
worth grabbing hold of? In particular I am looking at Beethoven, Brahms and
Schumann. Their seem to be some concertos conducted with Rubinstein being
paired with the likes of Ormandy, Leinsdorf and Reiner that I haven't
heard.
Thanks
