Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, I had the pleasure of attending the Morrisville,
PA concert of the TBC on tour, from Ft. Worth, TX. The concert included
Treble, Ensemble and Full Choir pieces under conductor Mr. Jerry Bierschenk
and accompaniest, Mark Stamper. Mr. Bierschenk also accompanied the choir
with flute and clarinet solos. He is also established as a tenor for a
variety of productions of opera and choral works. Mr. Stamper, a concert
pianist and assistant director of TBC, played Schubert's 2nd Impromptu,
Opus 90. The calibre of performance was very professional. The TBC has
recorded 35 CDs. If you ever have a chance to attend one of their
concerts, you will be enriched. It had an effect on my soul. A remarkable
performance. It would be worth your while to pick up a recording for your
collections.
