First, thank you for the light you are able to shed on those curious 78s.

Since posting my inquiry I have learned that in part I erred:

a> The 12 inch classical 78s were purchased at a military PX and for one
dollar ($1) a disc.

b> The "Eine Kliene Nachtmusik" was not among them, but the "Trout" quintet
was as was the Schubert 8th, "Unfinished" Symphony.
