I am old enough not to be given to offensive verbiage, but too ardent an
admirer of Rostropovitch to let this go.  The noun describing Rostropovitch
with WNSO is better fitted to describe the above opinion.

P.S.  It is not Rostropovitch's best, but far better than comparable
performances.
