I don't know exactly why this announcement from the Oregon Bach Festival
tickles me (it's a perfectly good practical service), but I can't stop
giggling over it:  it's real "Oregon" (different, of course, from "San
Francisco"...:)

   ATHLETIC CLUB CHILDCARE FOR CONCERTS
   While you watch the musicians play, let your children play at the
   Downtown Athletic Club Newberry Childcare facility.  Their special
   Bach package accepts kids ages 6 weeks to 12 years and includes
   videos, games, swimming, and pizza.  Childcare is by state-certified
   staff in a safe, supervised, and fun environment.  Childcare is
   available for concerts June 23 (Beethoven's 9th), June 28 (Festival
   Orchestra), and July 6 (Elijah).  Cost is $20 per child For more
