I find pictures of performers on the cover to be convenient. It
gives me some idea of who will be performing the music, in case I do
not already know them. Information regarding the composer is usually
readily available, likely with the music itself, from a library or short
encyclopedia article. Indeed, if I were interested *only* in the composer,
I could dispense with the CD entirely, that is, until we have composers who
produce music in the form of CDs (and of course we do).
