I don't know how many people would consider Vangelis to be a classical
composer. He is more in the realm of New Age. I find that I have always
enjoyed his music, especially an old album entitled "Soil Festivities".
Not to nit pick, but the English title you mentioned is "Chariots of Fire"
not Carriages. The title is derived from the poem "Jerusalem" by William
Blake which was famously set to music by C. Hubert H. Parry and is
practically the second National anthem of England.
