I think the best overall set is Harnoncourt's on Teldec.  I haven't been
entirely pleased with Gardiner's, and he's normally one of my heroes, nor
with the Norrington, which strikes me as quirky.  I'm also fond of the
series on Naxos, though the conductor's name escapes me at the moment.
The Esterhazy Sinfonia, anyway, not the earlier Naxos recordings which
were not very good at all.
