I have a fabulous recording of Mahler 4 with Berliner Philarmoniker and
Haitink (though recorded in het Concertgebouw) from 09.05.1999. It is an
outstanding M4 indeed, especially the 2nd movement has a certain feeling
of life!!!
Haitink is indeed a good Mahler conductor. More of him should be recorded
I think.
