The recordings that made up my mind about Sawallisch as a conductor were
first issued by EMI in 1973.  My 3 LP set is on Arabesque with the Dresden
State Orchestra.  A recording I used to play for friends to impress them.
As I recall the sound is limited, but the performances are outstanding.
