I felt the same the first time I heard the work on the radio.  I started
an urgent quest for the record (in those times, the only one available) and
only one or two years later I found a copy of it in a trip to Spain.  Now
it's available anywhere...  Last year, DGG reissued the piece in its 20th
Century Music series.  The soloist is Gidon Kremer and von Dohnany conducts
the Vienna Philharmonic.  It's one of my desert island recordings
