Hi everybody, The Gilels Beethoven set with a.o. L. Ludwig at the helmet
is simply splendid. In the French CD-guide Diapason it is ranked as the
best.

Also I want to draw the attention of the members, who have recently showed
a vivid interest in French chamber music, on some wonderful works of Ernest
Chausson. They sound pretty much like Faure and Ravel, but nevertheless
stand on their own as real masterpieces. Living myself in Belgium near
the French border, these works are familiar to me since long. I hope many
members of these group will discover them and like them as much as I do.

John.
