Perhaps Mr. Chase was trained in an institution that considers CRM
work prostitution, and that was an unfortunate experience for him,
but please don't assume that is the case everywhere and for all time.
Furthermore, there are powerful ways to effect changes in
Universities from the outside that do not involve slinging arrows.
Try speaking with Department Chairs, Deans, Provosts, and Presidents.
They especially like to hear from people who support their
institutions.
Please also note that many of the people who have had negative things
about receiving unsolicited applications are folks who aren't in a
position to hire anyone.
