Francis P. McManamon is indeed an archeologist with the National Park
Service. He serves as Chief Archaeologist for the NPS and also serves as
Departmental Consulting Archaeologist of the Department of the Interior. He
works out of the Archeology & Ethnogarphy Program in the NPS's Washington
