There is an 1889 cylinder of Brahms playing the Hungarian Dance #1 (IIRC)
and it has a spoken introduction, which may or may not be Brahms himself.
This was issued in Pearl's "Pupils of Clara Schumann" LP set and
probably is in the CD reissue.
