DATA 2014: A Celebration of Design, Art and Technology
CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS NOW OPEN
The Pittsburgh Technology Council and Carnegie Mellon University are gearing up for the 6th annual Design, Art and Technology Awards, Interactive Exhibition and Creative Summit.<http://www.design-art-tech.com/> For years, this event has been a cornerstone for creative technology projects around the Pittsburgh region, and beyond. The most exciting and innovative debuts in Creative Technology will be exhibited and awarded by a national public jury during the spring of 2014.
This year's DATA event<http://www.design-art-tech.com/> features new multi-day creative technologies summit, with scads of workshops, panels, performances and opportunities to engage in the newest trends in creativity and innovation. DATA is an event like no other - a mash-up of networking, interactivity and inspiration - showcasing over of 50 of this year's most innovative art and technology projects. The event is capped off by the Design, Art and Technology Awards Gala, and the DATA 2014 Keynote - entrepreneur, career guru and internationally-renown blogger, Penelope Trunk.

We are seeking folks working at the intersection of creativity and technology to submit recent projects for the Design, Art and Technology Awards, to present compelling workshops, talks or panels to raise awareness of creative technology trends, and to perform live during the summit and gala event in May.
