ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Hi all,

Marilyn makes many, many good points, but I don't necessarily agree that you have to work with someone in your geographic area. A good campaign person will do their homework. I have found that (surprisingly) it made more difference to the prospective contractor whether they were familiar with museums/science centers vs. other types of nonprofits. It also depends on what you are asking them to do - turnkey? advice? guidance on practice?

I liked working with Anne Bergeron ([log in to unmask]), she has a great sense of how to structure a campaign, and can provide the tools and the framework, if that's what you need.

Beryl
