Hello everyone,
Thank you for making the ISEN-ASTC-L listserv such a lively forum for information exchange and discussion. ASTC is consolidating some of our existing platforms, including this listserv, into one central location, community.astc.org. The listserv will migrate to the new location over the next few weeks and be called the General Forum. We will notify you again once the General Forum is up and running. The current ISEN-ASTC-L listserv will shut down on December 9, 2013.
The new ASTC Community site requires users to login to participate. Everyone currently subscribed to the listserv will automatically be subscribed to the General Forum with the same email notification settings they currently have. The login information you use for the ASTC Community will be the same username and password you use to read Dimensions online, register for conference, or update your information at members.astc.org. To learn how to retrieve your username and password and join the new community, please visit www.astc.org/about/pdf/HLhowto.pdf.
The ASTC Community, as well as becoming the new home of this listserv, is also the home of ASTC's Communities of Practice, other discussion forums, and resources. As a part of other groups in the Community, you will be able to participate in discussions, share resources, plan events, and connect with other members of the museum field from around the world.
