ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

In a corporate setting, I have worked in and amongst two different "smart"
boards, and generally they get smeared on with regular white board markers,
rarely turned on, sometimes used, and usually complained about because they
cost so much money.

Your milage may vary, but unless you have them dedicated and turned on all
the time, -- like the board is transferring information to a dedicated
computer, or another whiteboard mirroring information -- my belief is that
you'd be better off with traditional whiteboards, a smartphone camera, and
post-it notes to capture similar creative output.

What's the use of the whiteboards? Are they to be interactive experiences
for the kids?

Some context would help to ensure you find the best solution.
