Hi Eric,
We have had quite a bit of success with the following activity - Create 
a bit of a center piece for each table with some
"museumy" objects - Each table would also need a variety of beads.  Each 
person would get a large (maybe 2.5") safety pin. The object is for each 
person to hone in on one of the objects. Then, with the beads, create a 
pin that in some way reflects the color, texture and shapes of the 
object.  We have done this with a variety of people over the years and 
found it very popular.  I am including a link to our facebook page with 
some of the images of pins that were created.  Each pin  only takes 
about 3 beads.  Just make sure the opening on the beads can fit on the pin.
It creates a fun take-away.
